Oxford RF Sensors is a rapidly growing spin-out company from the University of Oxford that designs custom sensors to make physical measurements in the Aerospace, Automotive and Industrial sectors. As the name suggest these use low power radio energy to interact with the object being measured. We are primarily a design house but do have our own turbocharger speed product. The team that developed this was a finalist in the IET 2006 Innovation awards.
In the two years since formation we have grown from two people in a single office on Begbroke Science Park to the present 15 people in two units on a rural site just south of Junction 9 on the M40. We have plans to double in size over the next year or two and the major problem we face is finding more good people.
Our projects involve a wide range of technical disciplines, RF design, Analogue and Digital electronics, Mechanical design and signal processing. These are taken all the way from customer discussion through to design, construction and test. We are always interested to hear from motivated ‘hands-on’ engineers who have an empathy with their subject and who want project responsibility.
If this type of work appeals to you then we would be delighted to receive your CV and consider you when we are next recruiting. Our email address is jobs@oxfordrfsensors.com
